About the Conference
The International Conference on Multibody System Dynamics, IMSD, is organized every other spring after the first IMSD, which was held in
Lappeenranta, Finland, in 2010.
The second IMSD took place at the University of
Stuttgart, Germany, in 2012, the third IMSD took place in
Busan, Korea, in 2014, the fourth IMSD took place
in
Montréal, Canada, in 2016, the fifth IMSD took place in
Lisbon, Portugal, in 2018, the sixth IMSD took place in
New Dehli, India, in 2022 and
the seventh IMSD took place in
Madison, Wisconsin, USA, in 2024.
The purpose of the Conference is to serve as a
meeting point for the international multibody community to provide an opportunity to exchange high-level,
current information on the theory and applications of multibody systems.
