Submission
A PDF file of the two pages abstract or full paper formatted according to the conference templates and guidelines, should be uploaded to the submission system.
If you are not registered in the submission system, you will need to register and create your account. Please follow the system instructions.
Submitting Full Papers and Special Issue in MSD
This conference will not publish proceedings with full papers. Instead, a book of extended abstracts will be published.
Authors wishing to submit a full paper along with their work at IMSD2026 have two options:
- Submit your paper to the Research Square platform
- Submit your work to the Springer Nature Multibody System Dynamics journal, selecting the special issue "Research in Multibody System Dynamics after the AI Takeoff" for publication. When submitting your paper, also select the "Share your work as a preprint" option. The journal will upload a preprint of you work to Research Square.
Regardless of the option selected, authors interested in submitting a full paper will be required to include a link (URL) to the online paper at Research Square. This link will be added as a QR code in the book of abstracts to facilitate access to the full paper.
The special issue is scheduled to open for submissions in February 2026. Links to the full online article will be requested by March 20, 2026.
The reasons for using this procedure for submitting full papers are:
- To avoid a double review process for the papers that will ultimately be published in the special issue.
- To avoid selecting from the full conference papers, which can be unfair. Reviewers will assess the suitability of the articles.
